Support for Child Care Programs & Teachers

Child Care Partnership is here to help your program grow, strengthen quality, and meet your goals. Whether you are just starting your child care journey or have been serving families for years, we provide free, individualized coaching and high-quality training for licensed, certified, and prospective child care providers across Western Wisconsin.

Coaching

Child care providers can connect with us for support with starting a new program (licensing steps, business planning, navigating regulations), enhancing an existing program (quality improvement, curriculum support, staff development, policies and procedures), and meeting short-term or long-term goals related to classroom environments, staffing, family engagement, health and safety practices, and more. Coaching is always free and can be delivered virtually or in person, depending on your needs.

Training

We offer a wide range of professional development opportunities for early childhood educators. Trainings are available in person, virtually, or on site for programs when possible. Our offerings include Child Care Foundational Trainings (CCFT), Abusive Head Trauma, Safe Sleep (SIDS), Mandated Reporter, CPR/AED/First Aid, Pyramid Model, Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS), Directors Cohort, and additional topics such as Strengthening Families, regulatory requirements, child guidance, supervision, health and safety, and professional practices.

Child Care Foundation Training (CCFT) Course Coaching!

ECERS-3 Assessments for 4K Classrooms

We offer Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale, Third Edition (ECERS-3) assessments for 4K classrooms to support continuous quality improvement and enhance learning environments for young children.

Using the nationally recognized ERS Institute's ECERS-3 assessment tool, our trained staff conduct onsite classroom observations to evaluate key areas of quality, including learning environments, interactions, routines, activities, and program structure. Following the observation, we meet with teachers and program staff to review results, discuss strengths and opportunities for growth, and provide individualized feedback and recommendations to support high-quality early learning experiences.

Our goal is to partner with programs in creating engaging, developmentally appropriate environments that promote positive outcomes for children and families.
