Introduction to the Child Care Profession

This course will meet on the following dates: June 2nd, June 16th, July 14th, July 28th & August 11th from 6:00-9:00pm. The AHT & SIDS will be held on July 27th from 6:00-9:00pm.
The Introduction to the Child Care Profession is a 45 hour course that provides entry level knowledge and skills for individuals as they begin to care for children in group or family child care. Learners will explore rules, regulations and the responsibilities of child care providers. This course fulfills introductory non-credit course requirements as specified by the WI Dept. of Children and Families.
This course requires you complete an Abusive Head Trauma (formerly SBS) class and a Sudden Infant Death Syndrome class. You will need to provide a certificate of completion for these courses. Previously completed AHT and SIDS classes may count.
Cost: $150
Free for attendees in Barron, Buffalo, Burnett, Chippewa, Douglas, Dunn, Eau Claire, Jackson, Pepin, Pierce, Polk, Rusk, St. Croix, Trempealeau & Washburn Counties!
