Lead Teacher, Assistant Teacher

Location: 123 Look at Me Learning
Description: Our special opening is in the Romper Room for 18mo-3 years. Small class sizes to promote positive social/emotional learning skills and opportunities for young toddlers and 2's to practice all the things they are learning. This is a self-contained classroom that requires a steady, loving caregiver who has experienced success with young children. Other rooms that need assistance include the Aquarium as we have several new additions to our already established clients. We are seeking energetic, child-centered individuals to join us in our partnership with our families. It's fun and rewarding because, at 123 Look at Me Learning, Families are the Heart of our Program.

Benefits Offered: Hourly wage of $15/hour, PTO, matched retirement, continuing ed funding, positive work environment.

Required Education/Skills

Following DCF-251 the required education and skills include the completion of ECE coursework to include Intro to ECE, Infant and Toddler programs, and Skills & Strategies used in ECE. All of these courses are offered online as a self-paced curriculum guide you; or through Western Dairyland's numerous continuing education opportunities. These options can be done simultaneously by working directly with the children at our center. CPR, AHT, SIDS training are also required by the center's policies and DCF.

We would prefer to see education through D2l.org as a Steward for Children in protection against child sexual abuse.
