Administrator

Location: St. John's Preschool
Description: As a Preschool Administrator, you will manage the center’s day-to-day operations including finances and the physical facilities, maintain staff and children’s records, and work in a team setting to help keep the preschool organized and up-to-date with licensing and policies.
Responsibilities will include…
•    Completing the licensing renewal process and plan
•    Keeping accurate records for children and staff members
•    Completing a daily closing and cleaning checklist to provide a clean and healthy classroom setting
•    Logging substitutes information including their names, social security numbers, dates, and hours worked
•    Collecting and recording tuition and other payments

Required Education/Skills

•    Have completed high school or its equivalent as determined by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction
•    Have one year of experience as a manager or satisfactory completion of a department-approved course in business or program administration. This course may be either a non-credit course or a course for credit.
•    One year of experience as a center director, as a child care teacher in a group child care center or kindergarten, or as a licensee of a family child care center under ch. DCF 250; or satisfactory completion of a non-credit department-approved course for credit in Early Childhood Education or its equivalent.
