The Strengthening Families initiative is a strength-based approach to preventing child abuse and neglect. Strengthening Families is a Center for the Study of Social Policy (CSSP) initiative that looks at the evidence to find out what family strengths really reduce child abuse and neglect. Learning Objectives:
· Learn about the five family strengths that strengthen the family function
· Identify three next steps to build family strengths in early care and education settings
· Understand how to obtain and use Strengthening Families resources
