Cancellation Policy

We understand life happens. Should you need to cancel your registration, you may substitute someone to take your place, at any time, at no cost to you.
If we cancel a class, we’ll give you a choice between receiving your money back in full or receiving a credit for a future training to take place within one year.

What should you do if…
Your class is 14 or more days away:
You may transfer once to any training within one year.
If you have to cancel, you will receive a refund, minus a 20% administrative fee.

Your class is less than 14 days away:
You may transfer once to any training within one year.
If you cancel, you will not receive a refund.
If you are registered and do not attend the class, you are responsible for the full fee and will not receive a refund if you have already paid.

Substitution, refund, or transfer requests must be submitted in writing to Child Care Partnership, 418 Wisconsin St, Eau Claire WI 54703 or by email to becca.elbert@wdeoc.org.

Introduction to the Child Care Profession 6/1-7/27

This course will meet on the following dates virtually 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm: June 1st, June 8h, June 22nd, June 29th, July 6th, July 13th, July 20th, and July 27th. The AHT & SIDS training date will be 6/29 and the class will run from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm that day. 

The Introduction to the Child Care Profession is a 45-hour course that provides entry-level knowledge and skills for individuals as they begin to care for children in group or family child care. Learners will explore rules, regulations, and the responsibilities of child care providers. This course fulfills introductory non-credit course requirements as specified by the WI Dept. of Children and Families.

This course requires you to complete an Abusive Head Trauma (formerly SBS) class and a Sudden Infant Death Syndrome class. You will need to provide a certificate of completion for these courses. Previously completed AHT and SIDS classes may count.

You will receive 45 hours of WI Registry credit.
