We all face trauma, adversity and other stresses – here is the support you need to adapt to life-changing situations, and emerge even stronger!
Join us for two virtual book studies to increase resilience for you & the children in your care.
- Building Your Bounce: Simple Strategies for a Resilient You | November 3, 17 & December 1st, 2020 | 6-7:30pm
This brief book helps you “bounce back” from life’s ups and downs to become more resilient. During each session, we'll use reflective checklists to help you uncover your strengths, identify strategies to use to become more resilient, and celebrate progress toward your goals.
Cost: $8.00 | 6 hours of continuing education
- Conscious Discipline: Building Resilient Classrooms | January 12, February 9 & March 9, 2021 | 6-7:30 PM
This book will introduce you to the brain science that will transform your thinking about the way we help children feel safe, build connection, and learn to problem solve to resolve conflict. The brain-based social-emotional activities, skills, and strategies in this book will support learning that builds resilience in children, families, educators, and schools.
Cost: $15.00 | 10 hours of continuing education
Space is limited for each book study. Books will be provided. Register for a single book study or save and register for both for only $20.00!
Attend both book studies & receive a scholarship towards the 2021 Early Learning Conference.
Funding for this opportunity is from the United Way Greater Chippewa Valley's Response & Recovery Community Fund. Thank you to the UWGCV for their support on protecting & supporting the mental well-being of children & their family systems in our community!
